Nab Tower View - Self Catering Holiday Rental on Hayling Island

For the last six years, Nab Tower View has been the go-to holiday apartment for families and couples looking for a peaceful, seaside vacation. We have had guests nationwide join us, even as far as Hong Kong! Multiple guests have enjoyed their stay so much, we are proud to welcome them back each year.

We ensure the apartment is spotless before every arrival and we adhere to an extremely strict and thorough cleaning schedule that goes above and beyond the Covid-19 guidelines as set out by the Government.

When you arrive you can expect to find a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge and a little 'wind down' hamper full of the essentials, tea, coffee, and of course, biscuits! Before you unpack, sit down, have a cuppa and take in the charming garden whilst listening to the waves, right on your doorstep.

Nab Tower is a historical landmark that was to be built for anti-submarine protection in the Solent in World War I.

Designed by civilian Guy Maunsell, the tower was the only one completed out of eight, and by the time it was finished in 1918, the war had come to an end.

In 1920 the tower was towed to the Nab rock, situated in the eastern Solent, and manned as a lighthouse as well as functioning as a Royal Navy signal station during World War II.

The Nab Tower still functions as a lighthouse to this day but since 1983 it has been unmanned.
